Infoday Overview

Imaging engineers are increasingly faced with the challenge of rapidly transferring innovative solutions from proofs of concept to prototypes to production environments.  Join us for this free seminar to discover how MATLAB and Simulink provide an end-to-end solution for analysis, algorithm development, system design, implementation, and verification.

MATLAB provides a complete environment for image acquisition, processing, visualization, analysis, and algorithm development.  You can restore noisy or degraded images, enhance images for improved intelligibility, extract features, analyse shapes and textures, and align two images.  In addition, you can use MATLAB to develop and deploy desktop applications that incorporate your innovative solutions.

Simulink provides a flexible environment for image and video processing system design, floating and fixed-point modelling, simulation, and verification with the new Video and Image Processing Blockset.  You can explore “what-if” scenarios, optimize designs, catch flaws before they become costly to fix, and improve your time to market.  Additional tools enable you to generate, verify, and deploy embedded implementations on programmable DSPs and embedded microprocessors.

Who Should Attend

Anyone involved with image or video data, including:

·         System designers/architects, data analysts, and algorithm developers

·         Embedded software developers

·         Researchers and scientists

Infoday Highlights

During this half-day Infoday, TechSource Systems engineers will demonstrate image and video processing functionality and present case studies of customers who have solved their own technical challenges with MathWorks products. You will discover how MathWorks products can help you:

·         Connect image acquisition hardware directly to your analysis and design workflow

·         Process, analyse, and visualize image and video data

·         Develop unique algorithms from a comprehensive set of standard implementations

·         Design and simulate real-time image and video processing systems.
